Curated by Purnima, Women, Art & the Spirit of Giving showcased the creative practices of nine women from the Teachers as Practitioners (TAPs) programme, celebrating artistic practice, professional identity and the power of creativity to inspire positive social impact.
Purnima curates a Teachers as Practitioners (TAPs) exhibition at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre for International Women's Day 2026, celebrating the creative practices of nine women from Bangkok Patana School.
For this exhibition, I produced my own multidisciplinary work - an exploration of how words and visual art can inspire creativity, explore cultural identity, ignite activism and foster human connection. This was also the first time I showcased my illustrated poetry prints, a collection I’ve long been excited to share. Balancing curating the exhibition, leading the TAPs project, and producing this collection was incredibly fulfilling.
