Winner of the day 11 #30in30 daily poetry competition 2021
I received a copy of ‘Poems that do not sleep’ by Hassan Al Nawwab published by Fremantle Press and went into the running to receive feedback and a paid publication on my full #30in30 poem. The poem was written in response to a prompt by commissioned artist, Steven Oliver.
The competition is run by Red Room Poetry in celebration of the inaugural Poetry Month 2021, Australia, wherein daily writing prompts are released by Red Room’s 30in30 commissioned artists. Poets have 24 hours to compose a poetic response comprising no more than three lines and one winner is selected each day. Three poets from across the month will receive editorial feedback from Red Room Poetry staff and paid publication of their 30in30 poem.
