The Sketchbook Project is a constantly evolving library of artists' sketchbooks from across the globe. The sketchbook is given a barcode with a unique number – this allows the Art House Co-op to keep track of the book and record every time it's viewed at the Brooklyn Art Library and on tour. The sketchbook is catalogued on the Sketchbook Project website where it can be viewed globally.

ARTIST STATEMENT
Being a writer, my process began with a previously written monologue. I created images that rhythmically danced with the words, transcending borders of text, narrative and image. Fashioning my character immersed me in her voyage - a woman symbolically exploring her identity through the colours of Pink, Red and Black - each colour metaphorically represents the woman's growth from young love, mature love, to a love lost.
