Journeys Photography

Exhibition

Group exhibition at Baillieu Library, The University of Melbourne, 2008

Overview

About the exhibition

Fotoholics, the Melbourne University Photography Club (MUPC), is a Melbourne University Union-affiliated club with over 300 members. As part of the 2008 activities, a photography competition was held for the club members, with over 400 entries received. The shortlisted photos were displayed on the First Floor of the Baillieu Library, The University of Melbourne. The theme was ‘Journeys’ – a theme with an open-ended interpretation. It symbolises the academic year that concluded at the time of the competition, how the world and individuals have changed on a macro or micro scale, objects taking part in journeys, and physical, metaphorical, or emotional journeys that individuals have travelled.
