This design depicts a female Indian villager weaving her heritage one thread at a time – she is wholly engaged in Indian ethnic arts and crafts that defines her heritage. The drawing is inspired by my own visits to rural India, from the perspective of the Indian diaspora, highlighting the need to preserve traditional folk art and enhancing our appreciation of cultural practices.
